Dear Ladies,

Do take note that due to the humid weather, the excess oil and sweat we will be emitting might cause shorter life span for the eyelash extension, as we will tend to wipe our eye lids more.

To prevent this, after care is very important.

Try not to splash water onto your face, especially the eye area (although I understand that it feels great). And try to avoid rubbing on the eyes when wiping away the sweat.

It's finally November!! The time when the festive season arrives with the parties. And to glam up your look, you might be considering to get Eyelash Extensions. Here are some tips to consider when getting your new set of extensions.

- Consider the purpose of getting the extension.
Eg. If you are getting it for an event, consider going for volumes of Mascara or Drama so that it stands out in photos.

- To decide on the length, take into account if you wear spectacles as the longer lashes will hit the lens.

- If you are used to wearing fake lashes and thick eyeliners, consider getting thickness of Mascara or Drama.

1. Contacting us. Please try to contact us between the time of 11am to 10pm as we hope to get some rest too.
2. No boyfriends or husbands. Please as our place is a all ladies environment and we would want it to be as comfortable for you as possible.
3. No Bargains. We do not entertain bargains of prices as all our prices are fixed.
4. No Free Touch up. During the festive season, there will not be any free touchups. Each touchup would be subjected to a minimum charge of $10, excluding surcharge.
5. Keep to the Appointment made. As our appointments are all arranged side to side, we would appreciate if you can arrive 5 mins earlier or on time for your appointment so that other customers can have a fuss-free, less waiting time appointment with us.

- Duration: 2 days, 3 hours each day
- Learn to care for the nails, shaping the nails, the technic of applying nail polish, colour
suitability, DIY of nail art and sticker application and also the technic of nail tip application.

2) Professional Manicurist Course ($500 inclusive of products)

- In-house certificate provided upon completion. (1 local cert and 1 overseas cert)
- From this course, you would learn to provide a full set of mani pedi service, including
cleaning the curticle.

3) Professional Nail Technician ($1500 inclusive of products)

- Learn from the basics of providing a full set of mani pedi service to the advance stage of

teach you the skill in casual and dinner makeup and also hairstyling.

2) Professional Bridal Makeup ($1000 inclusive of products)
- Duration: 20 days, 3 hours each day
- In-house certificate provided upon completion. (1 local cert and 1 overseas cert)
- Learn to provide personal makeup and bridal makeup with the correct technics. Bridal
hairstyling will also be taught to provide the full service of bridal makeup.

3) Professional Makeup Artistry ($1500 inclusive of products)
- Duration: 30 days, 3 hours each day
- In-house certificate provided upon completion. (1 local cert and 1 overseas cert)
- Through this course, you would be taught on the technics of providing makeup services such as
Personal makeup, Bridal makeup, Stage makeup, Modelling makeup, Makeover makeup and
Creative makeup, with hairstyling included.

Classes will be conducted by our resident Makeup Artist, Anner. Graduated with a Diploma in Professional Image Makeup Artistry from KimBeauty by Kimarie and also a Diploma in Makeup Artistry from Christine Valmy International School, International School of Esthetics, Skin Care, Makeup of New York City. In her 8 years of experience, she has been doing numerous makeup, including bridal makeup, and giving makeup and nail classes mostly overseas.

These couple of days has been like a mad house, with appointments after appointments, all side by side. The phone has also been ringing a lot. Trying to attend to as much customers, calls and sms as we can, but please do understand that we cannot split ourselves up when all of us are working on the lashes.

Sincerely sorry to those who called and we are not able to make appointment with you as all our appointments were been made way in advance. We will try our best to slot our waiting list in once we have canceled slots.

Have a lot of people asking me about our charges, so just realised that I have not posted it here.

For eyelash extension, Natural is at $50.

For Thicker to Dramatic is from a range of $60 to $80.

There is NO extra charge for the glue or the length of the lash, its all based on the thickness.

Some Answers to your Questions.

Have been frequently asked these questions, so I thought that I will post the answers here for your viewing.

1) Qn: What type of lash do you use?
Ans: Single strand, synthetic fibers that are long and curled. Gives a natural effect.

2) Qn: How long can the extensions last?
Ans: Approx. 3 weeks to a month, depending on individuals. If you would like it to last longer, you can do touchups.

3) Qn: How to take care of the extensions?
Ans: Do not use curlers, mascara and eyeliners as they will spoil the lashes and also are hard to remove. With the extensions, you will not need them anyway as it already has the effect. Eyeshadow can still be used. When washing of face, have to avoid splashing water, we recommend using a facial sponge to wide off your cleanser or soap. Prevent rubbing your eyes. And well, just pretend that you have mascara on 24/7 hehe.

4) Qn: What if I want to remove my lashes?
Ans: Do come back to us instead of pulling them out yourselves as we have the solution for removal.

5) Qn: Will my own lashes drop when I have the extensions?
Ans: Basically, our own lashes drop everyday. With the extensions on, as long as you do not pull at it, your own lashes will be fine. The extension will just come off on it's own when it is loose. But to further protect your lashes, we recommend that you use Max Growth, the lash growing serum, to ensure the growth and strength of your own lashes.

Annoucement for CNY!!

The appointments for the 1st feb to 5feb 2008 are almost full!! So if you are keen to come by for our services, do give us a call asap.

For CNY, because we will be working extra long hours so that we can doll everyone up, we will be treating ourselves to a longer holiday!! Hehe. So we will be closed from 6th Feb and operations will resume on 15th Feb!! From the 2nd day of CNY onwards, you can feel free to call or sms me for appointments, but do take note that as I will be going away to KL from 11th to 13th Feb, we will not be contactable on these days. But I will definitely reply everyone who sms us during these times.

Also, to answer Lila on the question on the type of lash we use. We fully use only the single strands, cos its more natural and when it drops, you will not have a very big obvious hole in your lashes.

And now, let me share with everyone the new set of lashes Anner and I have got on now!! So happy to have redone it when we got the time. This time both of us did our lashes with the longest length and here are the pics!!

From the side, the lashes curl up nicely. Extra long!!

After the hectic work during the festive season, I finally have this break to present to you some of the eyelash extensions that we have done. Hope that you will like it. :)
Natural thick lashes created from our medium size lash.

The lashes create an eyeliner effect that enhances the eyes.

From the side, the curl and length of the lashes. Curlers are no longer needed!!

Medium length lash extensions for a natural look.

The eyeliner effect is still apparant from the natural look, and yet it looks like its your own lashes.

From the side, the length is obvious.

Now let's take a look at a dolly look created from a combination of the whole range of small, medium and large length lashes.

With eyes open, the lashes curls up nicely and obviously, like the lashes of a doll.

From the side, the length is even more obvious.

From here, we will take a look at the difference in look when we used 2 different type of lash on one of our customer.

First, this is the effect of her eyes closed with extensions totally from the normal small range.

From the front, the normal small range shows the thicknes.

She gave our really fine small range eyelashes a try.

And this is the result!!! Really natural that it looks like your own!!!

Surcharges are as such:

2) 30th Jan'08 & 31st Jan'08 - $3 surcharge

Prom Nite makeover!

Info on Eyelash Extension

1. As long as you have eyelashes, you can get eyelash extensions done.
2. The process takes around 1 and half hours.
3. For people who do not apply a lot of makeup, it can last around 3 weeks to a month.
4. To maintain the extensions, you can come for touchups.
5. The fibers for the extensions are already curled, so curler, eyeliner and mascara must be avoided.
6. To maintain the extensions, you should: -
a) avoid rubbing your eyes.
b) not splash water towards your eyes.
c) clean your eye area with a facial sponge.
d) not pull at the lashes or use any form of force on it.
e) stop using mascara, curler and eyeliner, eye shadow
can be used.
f) not go for swimming.
7. When you get the extensions done, do not wash your face within the first 2 hours so that the glue can dry completely.
